Sarah Bennett

Dr. Bennett was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and she's proud to serve the community she's always called home.

Her journey toward veterinary medicine began early in life. As a child, her neighbors were veterinarians who encouraged her love of animals by helping her "play veterinarian" with her own dog. What seemed like childhood fun at the time inspired a lifelong dream of caring for animals and the people who love them.

Dr. Bennett earned her undergraduate degree from Portland State University before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Oregon State University. She is especially interested in preventive healthcare and embracing a spectrum-of-care approach, allowing her to partner with families to find practical, compassionate solutions that meet each pet’s unique needs. Dr. Bennett is also Fear Free Certified and is committed to making veterinary visits as comfortable and stress-free as possible for her patients.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, Trigger and Kane, who were both adopted from the Oregon Humane Society. Trigger has a fiery spirit and often behaves more like a dog than a cat. Kane is known for his sweet, easygoing nature.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Bennett enjoys exploring the Pacific coast, whale watching, and gathering around campfires with family
