Dr. Maura Carr was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine with honors.
Ready for a change of scenery, she moved to the Pacific Northwest to explore all of the outdoor wonder it has to offer! In her free time, Dr. Carr loves to go hiking and camping with her dogs, Bella (a Weimeraner) and Gracie (a Rottweiler mix) She and her husband have taken several cross-country road trips and visited many national parks! You can find Dr. Carr wakeboarding in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and always willing to go thrift shopping or read a good book.
Dr. Carr’s favorite part of her job is the people she works with – both co-workers and pet parents! She enjoys the variety of cases she gets to see every day, from wellness to emergencies and everything in between. Through fear-free practice, she strives to make every pet’s visit a positive experience. She looks forward to building bonds that will last from your pet’s puppy/kitten-hood through their senior years!
