Dr. Shana Wilde was born and raised in Colorado and began her career in mechanical engineering after earning her undergraduate degree from the Colorado School of Mines. Her engineering background sparked a deep interest in biomechanics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation — interests that ultimately led her to pursue veterinary medicine.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. After graduating, Dr. Wilde moved to the Pacific Northwest and quickly fell in love with the region she now calls home.
Dr. Wilde is passionate about emergency medicine, surgery, and supporting pets with sports medicine and rehabilitation needs. She is also a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist (cVMA), adding an integrative dimension to her clinical approach. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is connecting with people — understanding their goals, easing their worries, and creating a plan that supports both the pet and their family.
Outside of work, Dr. Wilde enjoys spending time with her own animals: a black lab named Levi and a one‑eyed cat named Kyle. She loves exploring the outdoors through hiking and paddle boarding, traveling whenever she can, and unwinding with a good book.
